My name is Becky Swindler and I am a recruiter with Augment Consulting Management Services, a nationwide staffing firm.

Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Mechanical Designer in San Diego, CA. This is a 1-7 month contract at a rate of $50.00 per hour.

Job Description:

Involved in supporting senior mechanical engineer in design, analysis and simulation of HWCIs (Hardware Configuration Items)

Roles and responsibilities:

Tasks may include creating conceptual and master models of HWCIs to support thermal, structural, and environmental analyses as required by product development specifications.

 Skills:

 Must have Mechanical CAD modeling/drafting tool experience, preferred to have Catia v5 experience

 Must demonstrate good communication skills and be comfortable working in teaming environments.

 Other requirements:

 No clearance required

US Citizenship required

 Must have at least 3 years of experience

 Must have at least a high school diploma

 An Associates’ or Bachelors’ degree in mechanical engineering is preferred

 Experience with DOD contractor requirements for models and drawings is preferred

 Hours: 8 AM – 5 PM

Pay:  $55.00 per hour

  MUST be able to submit to background check and able to take drug screen.
