Duties
Provide the leadership necessary to achieve projected sales goals while ensuring complete customer satisfaction at all times. Conduct yourself as a coach who observes and facilitates necessary change to achieve company goals. Partner with each project manager and ensure that sales staff is working within a system where the team can consistently meet its goals. Provide direction and guidance to all employees that will maximize their full potential.
Essential Functions of Job
Oversee Sales Staff, Visual Merchandiser and Office support personnel. Achieve sales goals through the recruitment, development, training, coaching and management of the sales staff. Evaluates needs and strengths of your sales team members on a continuous basis. Utilize training tools provided by the Company to ensure your team's success.
Effectively manage customer contacts and relationships to improve customer service, build sales volume, improve effectiveness and increase overall customer satisfaction.
Establish individual sales goals and hold sales team accountable for achieving goals.
Create and nurture a positive team environment and a high level of energy and ambition with employees to ensure sales growth.
Education and Qualifications
BA or BS degree in a related field or comparable experience.
Proven background in retail selling.
Experience as design sales professional preferred.
Broad knowledge of design and effective sales techniques.
Supervisory experience required.
At least 5 years proven retail management experience in the Furniture Industry knowledge in fields such as retail, interior design or sales
Other Requirements:
This position requires team leadership abilities, strong communication and organization skills.
Ability to train for product knowledge, sales performance and customer service.
Serve as a role model for customer service, design and sales performance.
Must be able to work holidays, evenings and weekends. (10am – 6pm Saturday and 12pm – 5pm Sunday) and a two evenings per week until 8pm.
Must possess valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Salary Range:
They offer the starting base salary, depending on experience along with an outstanding bonus potential, comprehensive medical and dental plan, 401K match, and a variety of other coverage options plus a generous discount on our products. Two days off during the work week will be substituted for your weekends.
