Software Applications Trainer/Instructor

Houston based company providing expert computer training and consulting services to local businesses is seeking a trainer to add to their staff. Company’s goal is to increase the effectiveness and productivity of each client through relevant training and custom programming solutions. Thousands of clients have participated in their courses in order to enhance their skills through the hands-on business focused approach to training.

Full-Time Instructor teaching the software applications of MS Office – Specifically Microsoft Excel applications
Deliver technical and desktop application training classes at their West Houston facility and client locations around the Houston area
Responsible for maintaining a high student scored classroom evaluation average
Create customized consulting solutions for clients
Design your schedule for your training classes that are relevant, engaging, and interesting
Demonstrate your excellent communication, presentation, and people skills in the classroom setting
Desire and aptitude to achieve Applications Certifications

BACKGROUND PROFILE:

College degree or technical certifications preferred
Service driven candidate
Knowledge of MS Office applications must be near the advanced level
Professional and polished demeanor and ability to articulate well
Past training experience or educational background a plus
Requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills and computer literacy

To be creative and innovative in providing quality solutions, analytical & solution oriented.
Basic decision making – will be involved in developing, modifying & executing company policies

Excellent classroom management skills by presenting in a clear and engaging presentations to the novice and advanced student
Need flexibility to work a teaching schedule that will require extra time for preparation and completion of the training classes

Salary $30-50,000 based on experience
