Software Engineer - Java

Frequency, the leading personal video service, needs to expand our engineering team. We're looking for Java Software Engineers to join our development group and help us build and scale our massive video index.

You must have complete mastery of Java and at at least one dynamic programming language. In addition, you should have:

Expertise in object oriented software design
Bachelor degree (BA / BS) in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
Solid understanding of web standards including (M)RSS, Open Graph, REST, JSON
Some flavor of Linux
Design Patterns (Strategy, Adapter, Factory)
SQL and RDMS (especially mySQL)
Experience in, or a desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic startup environment

It would be nice if you had experience with:

Grails, Groovy, or Spring
Working in an Agile / SCRUM environment
Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube APIs
Regular Expressions
Machine Learning
Redis, hadoop
