Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated, creative, and detail oriented Senior Designer. This will be a key role for our fast growing SaaS startup that is disrupting the marketplace! Reporting to the Co-Founder/CEO, you will be our first Visual Designer, responsible for a wide range of design projects with a focus on designing beautiful and clean web apps. A smaller focus will be on print and other creative collateral and displays. You must have a sharp eye for design, aesthetics and layout. In addition you are responsible for management of translation, design and functionality requests for all multimedia components. You will collaborate with Co-Founder/CEO, product manager, and interaction designer along with sales and marketing teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design beautiful and clean web apps in hands on role
- Work in conjunction with CEO, product manager, and interaction designer on building great web products
- Perform all the key visuals
- Graphic and print design
- Managing multiple projects
- Communicate effectively and promptly on work requests
- Provide expertise on color theory, typography, composition, etc...
Requirements
- 5+ years of design experience – primary experience designing web apps
- Strong understanding of design structures and a good eye for a layout balance
- Solid skills on Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and provide varying levels of graphic/scripting production support to clients, highly detail oriented
- Ability to communicate and work within a team effectively
- Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and dedicated to excellence
- Highly skilled, creative, smart, efficient, even- tempered and able to work in a collaborative environment
- Must have passion for learning current and emerging technologies and a strong desire to continually expand abilities
- Startup in-house experience is highly desired
