Staffing Specialist/Recruiter

Staffing company located in Lake Jackson, TX is seeking a Staffing Specialist/Recruiter.  Must be adept at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.  Successful candidate will have staffing industry, college recruiting, or comparable experience.

Job Description
Achieves temporary staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising client managers; and developing strong business relationships with employees and clients. Enjoys fast pace and heavy public contact.

Duties:
* Establishes recruiting requirements by meeting with client managers to discuss needs.

* Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; maintaining rapport.

* Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.

* Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; administering skill tests; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.

* Arranges client interviews.

* Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.

* Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

* Possesses strong organization and customer service skills, and is capable of multi-tasking in a fast paced environment where priorities change frequently.

* Staffing industry experience preferred, but will consider strong customer service experience in other industries.
