TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST - $60-70K DOE

Our client, a diverse practice Midtown law firm seeks an experienced Technical Support Specialist.  Candidate identified must have 3-5 years experience in an IT HelpDesk or support environment, as well as a high school diploma and some college preferred.  Applicant selected will be responsible for providing basic network support as well as desk-side hardware and software support to attorneys and staff.

 

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Hardware setup and support including handheld devices

*Basic software troubleshooting on Ms Office, iManage, Internet Explorer, Carpe Diem, Elite, PDF and InterAction

*Assist in creating printer queue and maintain drive updates

*Assist with troubleshooting local network systems with network engineers etc.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

*Law firm experience

*3-5 years experience in an IT HelpDesk or support environment

*3 + years of Level 2 desk-side support experience

*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications and extensive knowledge of Windows OS

*Must possess general knowledge of computer hardware and software

*Must have troubleshooting techniques and knowledge of LAN and WAN environment

*Experience with iManage Document Management; RightFax Desktop Faxing Software; InterAction Contact Manager; Elite Accounting System; and Carpe Diem Time Tracking and Entry

*Experience with HP LaserJet Printers and Ricoh photocopiers/printers

*Must posess outstanding customer service abilities

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*Ability to communicate with all levels of staff, attorneys, management vendors etc.

*Strong initiative, drive and ability to work in a team environment
