FunMobility is looking for a Technical Writer specialized in application programming interface (API) documentation and other technical deliverables to work on our mobile social gaming platform.  The Technical Writer will interface with engineers and designers to create technical and writing design documents while streamlining the documentation process for others.  The ideal candidate is highly organized, has excellent communications skills and has a passion for distilling complex systems and concepts into concise reference materials.  The successful candidate will have proven experience in developing specialized technical documentation.

Responsibilities to Include:

• Documenting our platform and API for internal and third-party developer use

• Work closely with the development teams to understand new product features
   and document them in a clear and precise way

• Maintains the various technical and content design documents on large scale 
   games projects

• Help establish best practices for internal documentation

 • Performs copy editing on all design documentation and writing in the games

• Evolve the scope and style of the product documentation, while ensuring it
   continues to meet the needs of the target audiences

• Manages file/storage of all documentation

• Tracks documentation milestones and documents

• Communicates updates and significant changes to the design documentation
   to all members of the production team 

Required Skills:

• Bachelors degree in the areas of English, Communication or Journalism

• 2-5 years experience as a technical writer with excellent knowledge of written

   language

• Proven experience in documenting API/SDK applications
• Experience creating and modifying technical documentation and document
   control

• Ability to absorb information quickly and structure it logically
• Strong technical aptitude, time management and organizational skills

• Able to work independently and in a team environment

• Knowledge of and industry experience in gaming (online/mobile/social games)
   is a big plus
