User Experience Design - Human Factor Engineer - UX design UE Design

Title:            User Experience Specialist
Location:     Miamisburg, OH
Duration:     12 Months Contract
 
Description:
  • Responsible for promoting user needs within an overall structure deliverables that integrates the recommendations of the project team regarding user experience.
  • Typically has a Bachelor’s degree in design, architecture, HCI or related discipline.
  • 2-4 years related experience required
  • Experience working on Web/software/multimedia development teams (Preferred)
 
Responsibility Level
  • Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor Skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, analytical and interpersonal skills (Required)
  • Good client interaction/negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required)
  • Familiar with concepts of user-centered design
  • Ability to synthesize many data into coherent information design direction
  • Relevant application (Axure, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.) and design process expertise
  • Basic knowledge of information architecture/user interface design
 
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Gathers information on user needs and goals (from user research or on their own)
  • Creates innovative information organization structures, interaction designs, page-level content organization, navigation, and prototypes
  • Utilize User Centered Design methodology to help define the organizational structure for all other deliverables impacting user experience
  • Promote communication and collaboration among project members by gathering and disseminating ideas from all disciplines within the UCD methodology
