This person will take the lead to validate test methods used in a chemical and materials analysis laboratory. The test methods are primarily for QC testing of materials and components used in the manufacture of medical devices. These methods range from analytical assays, trace constituents, identification, mechanical and other physical properties and dimensional measurements. Work will be reviewed by technical experts and management.
Contract position for 6-12 months
Responsibilities: •Develop and author validation plans •Consult with subject matter experts, as needed •Coordinate the testing necessary to execution approved validation plans •Summarize results and write validation reports
Qualifications: •Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering •Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a regulated industry •Minimum of 5 years of experience with method validation in a lead role and an ability to develop experimental details and criteria •Working knowledge of a range of testing technologies (e.g., analytical chemistry, physical)
