Purpose and Scope:
To achieve accurate production reporting and inventory management/control through ensuring all departmental transactions are keyed accurately, efficiently and on a timely basis for R&I and Warehouse Inventory.
•Maintain Access database of R&I department raw materials, responsible for inventory accuracy and inventory integrity.
•Physically control (receive, locate, handle) raw materials and samples within lab tracking system
•Support R&I group with any inventory shortages, management issues.
•Liaise with and provide backup for Process Coordinator / assistant buyer functions of coordinating samples requests, availability and documentation within the sample data base.
•Liaise with and support Warehouse Coordinator
oEnter into visual manufacturing inventory transactions (including issues, returns & stock transfers) of all items associated with the work orders and materials within their area of responsibility.
oRaw material reconciliations on all work orders.
oReconciliation of all sub levels against the finished bulk work orders.
oAssist in, investigating and resolving any conflicts with inventory levels and processing approved inventory adjustments.
oAssist in physical inventory and cycle count programs including appropriate root cause analysis.
•Support Inventory planner as necessary and as directed by supervisor.
•Follows safe work practices and wears appropriate personal protective equipment i.e.: safety shoes
•Liaise with supply chain and operations departments as necessary to support continued inventory accuracy targets
•Backup to other positions within the warehouse function as necessary and as directed.
•Any other duties as directed by manager/supervisor

•Elevation of shoulders (e.g. to type on a keyboard if it is too high)

Skills and Qualifications:
•Secondary School Diploma
•GMP Training an asset
•A minimum of 6 months experience working in production/warehouse environment.
•Must be computer literate, with strong computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Visual Manufacturing an asset.
•Must possess excellent organizational skills with a high standard for detail
•Good written and oral communication skills
•Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
