Workers Compensation Collector
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for reviewing charts to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the case. Assertively negotiate settlements on the phone with defense attorneys, insurance adjusters, and lien reps. Draft written responses to address any collections issues. Coordinate collections efforts with lien reps.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2 years experience in CA State Workers Comp. bills/lien collections process.
Working knowledge of CA lien statutes and CA work comp laws.
Negotiation experience.
Excellent verbal skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Must be self motivated and work with minimum supervision.
Excellent computer skills
Other duties, as assigned
$18 to $20 an hour DOE
